Questions drivers ask
Why are some states missing?
A state page is published only after an official licensing page was opened on October 29, 2026. States without that page are listed as pending. Their fees are not estimated.
Is a fee on a state page the full cost of getting a CDL?
No. The figure is the line the licensing page printed. A retest, an endorsement, a tax-collector service fee, or a medical exam can be extra. The page says when the source did not list a separate amount.
Does every state use the same minimum age?
No. The age on a state page is the age that state’s page stated. It is not copied from another state.
