Privacy notice
How CDLP Online handles information when you browse schools, read guides and use the practice and planning tools.
Operator: Lead Partner AS, Norway · post@leadpartner.no
About this notice
Reviewed October 27, 2026. CDLP Online is operated by Lead Partner AS, Norway. Contact us about privacy at post@leadpartner.no. This notice describes the current directory and learning website. New contact or referral services require updated information before collection begins.
Information used to deliver the website
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes connection and request information to deliver and protect the website. This can include IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, request time and technical error information. Hosting and access protection are distinct from advertising tracking.
Searches and planning tools
School searches and filters can appear in the page URL. Your browser, hosting provider and anyone you share that URL with may see those terms. Enter a ZIP code, city or state; do not enter a name, email address, phone number or other private information in search fields. The pay worksheet calculates your inputs in your browser without a submission to CDLP.
Practice progress and browser storage
The practice test uses session storage in your browser to restore your answers and progress in the same tab. Restarting the test clears that saved progress. Browser settings can also clear or block storage. Search and resource filters can be restored from the URL. See Cookies and browser storage for details.
Cost estimates and school requests
The current hosted cost tool uses a fixed example email address. It does not accept your real contact details, save a real estimate request, send email or notify a school. Comparing schools does not send your selections to those schools. If contact or referral services are introduced, a collection notice and specific recipient choices must be provided before collection begins.
Information in the directory
School names, training locations and published contact information come from the FMCSA Training Provider Registry and the sources identified on the relevant pages. A public listing is not a statement that a school is accepting students. Some published business contact details may identify an individual.
Use and disclosure
Information needed for page delivery and security is handled by the hosting service. CDLP has no active advertising pixels or third-party advertising analytics in this release. CDLP does not currently sell visitor information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or send driver contact details to schools or carriers. Links to school and government websites open services with their own privacy practices.
Retention and security
Practice progress stays in browser session storage until cleared, restarted or the tab session ends, subject to browser session-restoration behavior. Request and security logs are subject to hosting configuration and provider retention; a confirmed retention schedule must be added before this notice is finalized. Do not interpret a saved browser session as a promise that data has been deleted from provider logs. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Norwegian operator and GDPR
Lead Partner AS is established in Norway. Where GDPR applies, rights can include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, subject to the relevant conditions. You can contact post@leadpartner.no and complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet. Current website delivery, security and responding to enquiries rely on the relevant legitimate interests; any future consent-based processing must explain how consent can be withdrawn. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made by the current browsing and planning tools.
Your privacy rights in the United States
Depending on your state of residence, the applicable law and whether CDLP falls within its scope, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling. Some state laws also provide an appeal process and rights for authorized agents. California law includes additional notice, sale or sharing opt-out, sensitive-information and non-discrimination protections when applicable. This notice does not claim that every state law applies to CDLP.
Privacy choices and browser signals
CDLP currently has no sale, targeted-advertising or cross-context-sharing activity for a Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. This release does not claim to implement an opt-out request system for a future referral service. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are different browser signals. Changing a browser signal does not erase hosting logs or information already held by another website. See Privacy choices for the current limits.
Requests, verification and appeals
Email post@leadpartner.no to ask about access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights. For an appeal, include Privacy appeal in the subject and identify the decision you want reviewed. An authorized agent should explain their authority. We may need information proportionate to the request to verify identity or authorization; do not email identity documents unless specifically requested through an agreed secure channel. There is no active request form on this website. Applicable response periods, exemptions and verification rules depend on the law and request.
Children and sensitive information
CDLP is intended for people researching commercial-driver training, not children under 13. The current catalogue does not request dates of birth, Social Security numbers, financial account details, health records or precise device location. Do not provide those details in free-text fields.
International processing and changes
Hosting can involve processing outside your state or country. Provider arrangements and any required transfer information must be confirmed before final approval. The review date above will be updated when this notice changes. Material new collection or disclosure will need updated information before it starts.
