CDL jobs near me: state pay and nearby schools, not listings

This page does not list CDL jobs near you. It does not name a carrier that is hiring, and it does not rank employers by distance. BLS publishes wages and employment for occupations. It does not publish a board of open trucks.

Uses the first three digits of the ZIP. Without JavaScript, the button opens the school search for that ZIP instead.

Choose a state

Each link opens that state’s May 2025 Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics for heavy and tractor-trailer truck drivers and for light truck drivers. The figures are wage-and-salary estimates, cross-industry. They are not openings near a ZIP code, and they are not the handbook’s national totals. What this search does not include

A search for local, home-daily, Class A, or Class B work is a different question. Local CDL jobs quotes the short-haul recordkeeping rule and the largest metro estimates. It is not a home-daily job list. Class B CDL jobs says BLS does not publish a Class B wage. National CDL jobs explains the occupation-wide figures.

If you do not have the license yet, the school search can sort training locations by straight-line miles from a ZIP code. That sort is schools, not jobs. Carrier-paid training is a separate page. A registry location is not an offer to pay for school.

Questions drivers ask

Does this page list CDL jobs near me?

No. It does not list openings, carriers, or a distance to an employer. Pick a state to read that state’s May 2025 wage estimates. A statewide median is not a job near your ZIP code.

What does the ZIP box do?

It reads the first three digits of the ZIP, then links the state wage page and the city school directory closest to the average GeoNames centroid of the ZIPs that share those digits. It does not search jobs, because this site has no file of openings with coordinates. A prefix that crosses a state line lists each state.

Is a Class B job included?

No. The Class B jobs page says BLS does not publish a Class B wage. This page does not turn the heavy-truck median into a Class B opening.
