CDL training cost in Arizona
License fees and school charges are different bills. The fee lines below are copied from the Arizona licensing source opened . They are not a tuition estimate, and they are not added together into one “total cost.”
License fees on the official page
- CLP fee
- A Class A or B permit with no endorsements is $25. A Class C permit, which must have a passenger endorsement, is $12.50. A hazardous materials endorsement is not allowed on a Class C permit. A duplicate permit is $2.
- CDL fee
- For a new license or a transfer from another state, Class A or B is $25. Class C, which must include a passenger endorsement or a hazardous materials endorsement, is $12.50.

Named program charges
No school in Arizona has a program charge reprinted here. A directory listing is not a price. Ask the school for a written quote for the class, location, and schedule you want.

Questions drivers ask
How much does CDL training cost in Arizona?
This page does not publish a statewide tuition. The license amounts are the lines on the official fee source checked October 29, 2026. A school price appears only when a named program page was already checked, and that price is not a quote for another school.
Are the Arizona license fees the whole bill?
No. A permit, a license card, a skills test, a medical exam, and a school charge are different payments. If one of those lines was missing from the licensing page, it is not filled in from another state.
Does a directory listing include the price?
No. A listing in the Arizona school directory is not a tuition quote and not a funded seat.
